Access Control Questions

Practical answers for planning warehouse and office door access in DFW and North Texas.

Plan the complete door

A working access system starts with the opening: door condition, lock, closer, reader, wiring, power and safe exit. We assess these together rather than treating a controller as the whole installation.

Manage practical permissions

Give employees, contractors and visitors access to the areas and times they need. We help define access groups, scheduled unlocks and a consistent process for issuing and revoking credentials.

Keep expert help available

Get assistance with commissioning, administrator training and difficult access control problems. Briva Access coordinates the hardware, network and software details so your team has a clear path for ongoing support.

Common Questions
What do you install?

Briva Access plans commercial door access for warehouses, offices and other properties in DFW and North Texas. Our current platform offerings include NAPCO, Axis, Genetec, Avigilon and Ubiquiti UniFi Access.

Can you reuse our existing cards?

Possibly. We need to check the card technology and format, reader interface, supported controller and software configuration. Compatibility is assessed before reuse is included in a proposal.

Do all systems support phone entry?

No. Mobile entry and wallet credentials depend on the selected reader, platform, software and device requirements. We explain the available choices and a physical credential alternative where appropriate.

What affects the installation scope?

Door and frame condition, locking and exit hardware, wiring, power, network infrastructure, platform choice and administrative requirements all affect the scope. A site survey helps establish the work required.

Can you provide ongoing support?

Yes. We assist with administrator training, planned changes and difficult hardware, configuration or network issues. The project scope identifies platform services and the responsibilities of your team and ours.

Which area do you serve?

Our current installation focus is DFW and North Texas, with a McKinney base and city guides for nearby commercial properties. Contact us to confirm availability and scope for your project.
